About the clinic
Where is the clinic?
1
Elaine Adams Aesthetics is a private home clinic in Scissett, Huddersfield, in the HD8 postcode area. The full address is provided in your booking confirmation email. There is free parking directly outside.
Is it easy to find and is there parking?
2
Yes. The clinic is straightforward to find and there is free parking directly outside, which means no walking through a busy town centre or high street. The discreet location is one of the things clients most frequently mention appreciating.

About consultations
Do I need a consultation before my first appointment?
1
For all injectable treatments including anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers, a consultation is required before or at the start of your first appointment. This ensures that Elaine fully understands your goals, assesses your suitability, and recommends the right treatment for you specifically.
The free face-to-face consultation is available as a standalone appointment if you would prefer to have that conversation before committing to a treatment.
Is the consultation really free?
2
Yes, completely. The free face-to-face consultation is a 30-minute appointment with no obligation to book any treatment. Elaine will listen to your concerns, give you her honest professional opinion, and help you work out whether there is something she can do for you. There is no pressure and no agenda.
The anti-wrinkle prescriber consultation is a separate, medically required appointment for new clients booking anti-wrinkle treatment. This is priced at £30.
What happens during the consultation?
3
It is a conversation. Elaine will ask you about what you have noticed, what you are hoping for, what your concerns are, and what natural-looking means to you. She will assess your face and give you her honest recommendation. You can ask anything: there is no such thing as a question that is too basic or too detailed.
Will I feel pressured to book during the consultation?
4
Never. If Elaine does not believe a treatment will genuinely serve you, she will say so: honestly and kindly. Her only goal during the consultation is to work out what is right for you, not to fill her appointment book.
About the treatments
Will it hurt?
1
Most treatments involve minimal discomfort. Anti-wrinkle injections feel like a small, brief sting. Dermal fillers and skin boosters can involve slightly more sensation depending on the area being treated, but Elaine works carefully and will ensure you are comfortable throughout. Numbing cream is available for more sensitive treatments and areas. Any discomfort is always brief.
How long do results last?
2
This varies by treatment. Anti-wrinkle injections typically last three to four months. Dermal fillers can last anywhere from six to eighteen months depending on the product and the area treated. Skin boosters and polynucleotide treatments improve skin quality over several weeks and results are maintained with periodic top-up treatments. Elaine will give you a clear, realistic expectation for your specific treatment during your consultation.
How quickly will I see results?
3
Again, this depends on the treatment. Anti-wrinkle injections typically take three to five days to take effect, with full results visible at two weeks. Dermal fillers deliver immediate results, though some initial swelling means the final result is best assessed at two weeks. Skin boosters and regenerative treatments improve progressively over several weeks and sessions.
Is there any downtime?
4
Most treatments involve minimal downtime. Some redness, minor swelling, or small marks at injection sites are normal and typically resolve within a few hours to a couple of days. Elaine will give you specific aftercare guidance for your treatment and flag anything to be aware of before your appointment: particularly if you have an event coming up.
Are the treatments safe?
5
Yes, when carried out by a qualified, experienced practitioner using premium products: which is the only way Elaine practises. All products used at Elaine Adams Aesthetics are CE or UKCA marked, sourced from reputable suppliers, and appropriate for their intended use. Elaine holds advanced qualifications and maintains her skills through ongoing CPD and training.
What products do you use?
6
Elaine uses premium, carefully selected products throughout. For anti-wrinkle treatments she uses Biocouture. Skin booster treatments use Profhilo, Plinest, Vitaran, Seventy Hyal, Sunekos, and Iluma Luna: each chosen for its specific properties and the outcomes it delivers. She will always tell you exactly what product she is recommending and why.
Can anyone have aesthetic treatments?
7
Not everyone is suitable for every treatment. Certain medical conditions, medications, and circumstances including pregnancy and breastfeeding mean that some treatments are not appropriate. This is one of the reasons the consultation matters so much. Elaine will always carry out a thorough medical assessment before recommending any treatment.
About results
Will it look natural?
1
Natural-looking results are the only standard Elaine works to. She believes the best result is the one that goes unnoticed: where you look refreshed and well rather than treated. She uses restraint as a skill, not a compromise, and she will always recommend less rather than more when in doubt. If you are worried about looking overdone, that conversation is exactly the right one to have with her during your consultation.
What if I am not happy with my result?
2
Elaine's goal is for every client to leave feeling quietly confident about their result. If for any reason you have concerns after your treatment, please get in touch as soon as possible. She will always discuss your concerns, assess the result, and where appropriate arrange a follow-up appointment. Your satisfaction and your trust matter more than anything else.
Can I have a top-up if I want more?
3
Yes. Top-up appointments are available for anti-wrinkle treatment at two weeks if the result is not quite as expected. For filler treatments, additional product can be added at a review appointment. Elaine will discuss this with you as part of your treatment plan.
