Elaine Adams Aesthetics – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions are in place to ensure a safe, professional and fair experience for all clients. By booking an appointment, you agree to the policies outlined below.
1. General Information
Elaine Adams Aesthetics is a homebased clinic offering nonmedical skincare treatments, facials and cosmetic services. All treatments are carried out by a qualified and insured practitioner.
2. Booking & Deposits
All appointments require a nonrefundable booking fee to secure your slot.
The booking fee is deducted from the final treatment cost.
Appointments without a booking fee may be cancelled without notice.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
To protect my time and ensure fairness to all clients:
A 48hour notice period is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your booking fee.
Noshows or sameday cancellations will be charged the full booking fee and may require payment upfront for future bookings.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your treatment may not be carried out and your booking fee may be forfeited.
If I need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, your booking fee will be transferred to your new appointment.
If you are unwell, please contact me as soon as possible. I will always try to be understanding in genuine circumstances.
4. Consultations & Medical Information
A full consultation and medical questionnaire must be completed before your first treatment.
You must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications and recent procedures.
Failure to provide accurate information may affect your treatment outcome and safety.
I reserve the right to refuse treatment if it is not safe or suitable.
5. Patch Testing
Patch tests are required for certain treatments.
If you decline a patch test, the treatment cannot go ahead and your booking fee will be forfeited.
6. Treatment Results
Results vary depending on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare.
No specific results can be guaranteed.
Aftercare advice will be provided; failure to follow this may affect your results.
7. Children & Guests
Due to insurance and safety regulations, children and additional guests cannot attend appointments.
Please arrive alone unless previously agreed.
8. Payments
Payment is due at the end of your appointment.
Accepted payment methods: cash, card or bank transfer.
Prices may change at any time.
9. Refunds
Treatments are nonrefundable.
Retail products can only be returned if unopened, unused and in original condition within 14 days.

At Elaine Adams Aesthetics, I am committed to protecting your personal information and complying with UK GDPR.
What Data I Collect
I collect your:
name and contact details
medical history, consultation forms and treatment notes
booking and payment information
photos (shared only with your consent)
This information is required to provide safe treatments and meet insurance/legal obligations.
How Your Data Is Stored
Your data is stored securely within Timely and other trusted systems used for bookings, payments and communication. Some consultation forms are completed on paper; these are stored securely within the clinic and are only accessible to the practitioner. Some data may be transferred outside the UK/EU with appropriate safeguards. Cookies may be used when booking online.

How Long Your Data Is Kept
Treatment records: up to 7 years
Marketing consent: until withdrawn
You may request deletion unless legally required to retain the data

You have the right to:
access, correct or delete your data
withdraw consent
request data transfer
object to certain processing
complain to the ICO if needed
I do not use automated decisionmaking.
11. Photography & Social Media
Before/after photos will be taken for treatment records.
Photos will only be used for marketing with your written consent.
12. HomeBased Clinic Etiquette
Please respect the home environment and arrive at your scheduled time.
Smoking, vaping or consuming alcohol/drugs on the premises is not permitted.
Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused treatment.
13. Liability
All treatments carry risks, which will be explained during your consultation.
By proceeding, you accept responsibility for your own health and wellbeing.
Elaine Adams Aesthetics is not liable for adverse reactions where correct consultation and aftercare have been followed.
14. Right to Refuse Treatment
I reserve the right to refuse treatment at any time if:
it is unsafe
contraindications are present
policies are not followed
inappropriate behaviour occurs
